TERMS AND CONDITIONS for Custom Orders
Spots for custom dresses are not secured until a $50 (returning client) and $75 (New client) placeholder deposit has been received. (This will apply to your dress purchase) You may choose the month you would like to be scheduled. Spots are chosen in the order that placeholder deposits are received, but not scheduled in chronological order. For example, you may choose a January spot in June, but February could already be full.
The design must be confirmed and the 50 percent deposit must be paid by the first of the month before you are scheduled or additional rush shipping charges may be applied. Once the deposit is made, supplies will be ordered.
Before work has begun on your dress, we will do a video call for measurements. All times for fittings, measurements and sales are scheduled b based on Eastern Standard Time in the US. I will do my best to accommodate time differences Monday though Friday.
Final payment is due when the dress is complete and must be paid within 7 days. Shipping is not included in the price of the dress
There are no refunds or returns on custom dresses. Some adjustments may be able to be made on the unstoned areas of the dress (skirt hem, additional stone work, bra cups, etc.). Alterations cannot be made to the stoned areas. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the client. Concerns must be expressed within 10 days of shipping for orders within the US or within 7 days of receipt for international orders. Please fully insure any dresses sent back for an alteration and mail no more than 10 days after receipt.
Girth extenders can be added at any time. They are $80 and the brief of the dress must be washed prior to sending back. If your skater has a big growth spurt, length can be added with a girth extender. Width cannot be added. Alterations cannot be made to the stoned areas of the dress. Sometimes sleeves can be extended.
All fees and taxes on international orders are the responsibility of the client.
I do not accept pictures of other dresses or designs from skaters, parents or coaches. I will sketch a dress that can be created and is suitable to skate in. I do ask for a “must have” list, which can include favorite style elements, colors, etc. (If I receive requests for dresses that cannot be made as imagined, I will offer an alternative design and I reserve the right to not accept the order.
